Eminox is a major European manufacturer of purpose-designed stainless steel exhaust systems and exhaust aftertreatment systems for heavy duty internal combustion engines. Its key markets are heavy commercial vehicles, buses and coaches, off-highway equipment and diesel railcars.Eminox has a long-established partnership with Johnson Matthey (JM) for the design, manufacture and marketing of emissions control products. The CRT® system (Continuously Regenerating Trap), a diesel particulate filter which uses JM patented chemical technology, is supplied as a retrofit and OEM product. Over 120,000 systems have been supplied worldwide to-date. The SCRT® system combines CRT performance with NOx reduction, allowing vehicles to achieve current and projected legislated emissions levels.
Eminox also manufactures and distributes a Fuel Borne Catalyst (FBC) system for applications where the CRT® system is not appropriate. The FBC system uses Innospec’s Satacen additive dosed into the vehicle’s fuel line to facilitate regeneration of the particulate filter.
Eminox is based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire and has Customer Service Centres in the UK, France and Sweden. It also supplies through agents and distributors in Benelux, Italy, Switzerland, Chile and Hong Kong.
